Rebel II History

The Rebel II is a family owned and operated 1967 32’ Permacraft. She was previously owned by Captain Charlie Kahn, and later sold to his son Captain Travis Kahn. Rebel II was fully rebuilt during 2020/2021 by Captain Travis and his Co-Captain Kyndera Keithley. She has been upgraded with brand new 330 Cummins, top of the line electronics, and full paint job.

Travis Kahn

Captain Bio

Captain Travis Kahn started fishing in Port Aransas at the early age of 6 months old. He went to work right away on the party boats from age 12-to 16 as an offshore deckhand for his father's charter business, Captain Charlie Kahn, on Rebel II. Travis was then offered to work for a private individual and spent nearly ten years chasing billfish worldwide and catering to a family. He has held a captain's license for almost 15 years and counting. To say "fishing is in his blood" would be an understatement! After returning home in 2020, he bought the Rebel II from his dad to continue the family trade.

Kyndera Keithley

Co-Captain Bio

Captain Kyndera Keithley is a born and raised Houstonian turned Port Aransian after reconnecting with Travis in March of 2020. She spent most of her childhood and young adult life sailing with her family across the Gulf, which cultivated a deep love and curiosity for the ocean. After moving to Port Aransas, Texas, Kyndera decided to get her captain's license to pursue further opportunities to work and travel the seas. Then, she saw Captain Travis's vision for Rebel II, knowing that it would come alive with a bit of elbow grease.

What is the maximum number of passengers allowed?

The number of allowed passengers is 6
*All charter passengers must be at least 5 years of age and up.

What items do I need to bring aboard?

All passengers will be required to show proof of a current Texas saltwater fishing license and your party is responsible for food and drinks for the day.

*Alcohol is allowed, but please no glass bottles.

What does the charter provide?

The Rebel II is well equipped with the best in saltwater fishing rigs along with fresh bait, tackle and ice.

What is the pricing of the charter packages?

Depends on the packages you have purchased, packages start from 6 to 16 hours.
